Get your staff ready for an easy experience with a professional photographer who will make picture day memorable.
Fall
Fall pictures are the traditional head and shoulder images that will be used for the school yearbook and for portrait packages. There are multiple programs a school can choose for their fall picture day. Explanations of each type of sale are listed below. If you have any questions about which type of sale your school participates in, you can contact your school or our Customer Service Department via Live Chat on our website (8am to 5pm ET) or by emailing cservice@strawbridge.net.
Prepay – The most popular program for a fall portrait sale is a prepay program. Students receive a flyer/envelope which lists the different packages offered and their prices. Parents can mark their selection and enclose their payment in the envelope and return to the school on picture day. Orders can also be placed online before picture day on the secure Strawbridge Studios website eliminating the need for parents to send money on picture day.
Proof – Schools can also choose a Proof program. In a proof sale, two weeks after the picture day, each student photographed receives a flyer/envelope that includes a photograph of the image taken, the packages offered and their pricing. Parents indicate their package selection, enclose the payment, and return it to the school. Parents can also order online after picture day using the secure Strawbridge Studios website. A Strawbridge representative will schedule a date and time with the school to pick up any orders for processing.
Speculation – Speculation programs are also available for fall picture days and are very successful. In a speculative sale, all students photographed receive the same package. Packages include several sheets of photographic prints. A full package is printed for every student and is sent to the school. The schools distribute the packages to be sent home. Parents may purchase the entire package or any part thereof, depending upon their needs. Purchases can be made via cash, check or online through the secure Strawbridge Studios website. Parents can then return the unwanted packages to their school. Unpurchased images are returned to Strawbridge Studios and recycled using a secure recycling program.
Spring
Spring pictures are an optional sale that schools can choose to participate in. Spring pictures traditionally are photographed on a themed background. There are multiple programs a school can choose for their spring picture day. Explanations of each type of sale are listed below. Students receive a flyer/envelope which lists the different packages offered and their prices. Classroom Groups are a time honored tradition where each class is photographed together in a group. Students receive a flyer/envelope which lists the package offered and the price. Parents can mark their selection, enclose their payment in the envelope, and return the envelope to the school on picture day. Orders can also be placed online before picture day using the secure Strawbridge Studios website which eliminates the need for parents to send money on picture day.
